Making Gluten Free Boxed Brownie Mix into a Better Chocolate Creation

Today was a busy day so I didn't get to  make brownies from scratch. So I got out a box of gluten free brownie mix. It was the only brownie mix we had in the house. It was gluten free because my mom is gluten free! I made it in to my own creation by adding in a whole bag of semi sweet chocolate chips. My mom and I had to adjust the baking time from 28 minutes to 32 minutes because the extra chocolate chips we added gave the brownies more moisture. So it took longer to bake. My mom and I tried the brownies they were good, but they were a little bitter. It seemed like the extra chocolate chips didn't help the taste at all. It is difficult to work with gluten free food because some brands are pretty awful and some brands are really delicious! I can't wait to make my own gluten free brownies for my mom sometime! ( Mine will taste a lot better ! )    : )

Starting A Cooking Blog

I wanted to start a cooking blog because I was interested in cooking by myself. Most kids can't cook by themselves. But my mom started to teach me how to cook. When I realized how much fun it was, I started watching cooking shows for inspiration. I realized I wanted to make my own recipes too! I think cooking is like science because you always have to experiment to find new ways to make your dish taste better. Science is my favorite subject, that is another reason why I started cooking. Writing is another one of  my favorite subjects, that is why I started blogging. I can't wait to have some fun in the kitchen with you, and I hope you enjoy all of my recipes!
